Flights and Shuttles

United has flights into Bishop Airport (KBIH), which is about 40 minutes from Mammoth.  The Village Lodge offers a free shuttle service from the Bishop Airport if they have 24 hours advanced notice.  You can also fly into the Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH), but the weather conditions are more questionable at that airport, and flights often get cancelled.  Other options are to fly into LAX (Los Angeles) or Reno and drive to Mammoth.

Continuing Education

Twenty hours (20) of CE include:  8 hours of dentistry, 8 hours of emergency medicine, and 4 hours of clinical pathology.  This program has been submitted (but is not yet approved) for 20 hours of CE in jurisdictions which recognize RACE approval.

Meeting Registration Fees

All registration fees include all social activities (Welcome Reception, Karnival, Anniversary Dinner, Stubes, Meals for the Membership Meeting and Farewell Happy Hour).  The registration fee for practicing veterinarians also includes 5 days of continuing education (20 hours of RACE CE) with breakfast and CE notes on a thumb drive.  The registration fee for retired or unlicensed veterinarians also includes 5 days of CE with breakfast and the CE notes on the thumb drive but does not include RACE certification.  The registration fee for first-time practicing veterinary attendees includes everything practicing member veterinarians receive but at a reduced fee.  In addition, first timers automatically become members and are exempt from dues until the dues renewal date.  The registration fee for non-veterinary members and guests includes all the social activities.  All events will feature a cash bar, with entertainment and dancing at the Karnival and Anniversary Banquets.  THE THEME FOR KARNIVAL IS “SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE”.
